15 May 2002: A network switch will be shutdown and restarted 15 May 2002 at noon. If this fails to correct a problem, the network may be down for up to 1.5 hours until the hardware can be replaced.

The computers in SCI106 and SCI108 are essentially unusable during any network downtime, as they rely on the network for login authentication, some shared applications, the desktop icons, printing and all student files.
