10 May 2002: We are pleased to announce that Cormac McGaughey has joined the staff of the Institute of Technology as a Computer Support Specialist.

Cormac has several years of system administration and testing experience as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He has worked with various operating and network systems and is comfortable with C++ coding and a variety of Linux distributions. He most recently worked for Intel conducting hardware validation tests. We are fortunate to have Cormac on our staff.

Cormac will help students use the resources of the labs, investigate performance and resource consumption issues, and assist Stephen Rondeau in various lab-oriented tasks.
